Christmas in the Studio
Merry Christmas from all of us at Shore Cottage Studio!
This is to be our last blog post until the new year. We are still busy in the studio dispatching gifts and creative course vouchers in time for Christmas but will be spending some time with our families as I’m sure you will be too.
To make sure we don’t leave you without some festive inspiration over the next couple of weeks we are grouping together some of our best Christmas posts from last year, when we had a smaller following – our Christmas Greatest Hits if you will.
If you missed our first Coastal Craft feature for Coast Magazine you can click here to read it online. Four easy steps to make your own Driftwood Christmas Tree.
These Mini Christmas Pies went down well at last year’s Christmas Open Studio Event a thin layer of mincemeat topped with almond marzipan cake – delicious! Click here to get the recipe.
These Christmas tree biscuits are baked on a pizza tray with holes in the base and therefore come ready decorated with cute baubles. Click here for the recipe.
The Shore Cottage Studio spiced mulled juice always goes down a treat. This recipe is a traditional ruby colour but at this year’s Christmas Open Studio Laura made an apple juice only variation that was warmly received.
And finally… No Shore Cottage Studio Christmas is complete without a Brussel sprout candelabra. Click here for instructions to make your own – or just to satisfy your curiosity.
With all best wishes for the festive period,
Laura, Kris and Sue.
