Friendly tuition and gentle theory to help you get more from your digital SLR camera. Designed for the complete beginner with a new camera or those that want to move on from automatic mode.
Bring your digital camera, a tripod if you have one, and some enthusiasm and we will supply the rest. This one day course includes nurturing small-group tuition and a nutritious lunch. You will learn the theory of shutters and apertures and master the use of these two camera modes, an ideal start for those who are totally new to DSLR or Bridge photography.
(This course can be used as a precursor to our two day photography course which includes using full manual control and composition.)
This one day course costs £100 per person and includes, tuition, materials, lunch and refreshments. The course runs from 10am until 3pm.
You will need to use a camera that has modes to alter the shutter speed and aperture (usually found on the top of the camera denoted by either S and A, or Tv and Av) If you are unsure as to if your camera is suitable please do email Laura, the course tutor and she can advise.
