Two Day Textile stitch fabric dyeing weekend course Explore Design Stitch workshop class
20th May @ 10:00 am - 21st May @ 4:00 pm£200
This two day course begins with a walk along the tideline gathering visual information to use back in the studio.
We then explore design through mark making, picking up on the colours, textures and shapes found outside the studio.
The afternoon will be spent preparing fabrics and yarns with dyes ready for day two, which is all about transferring your ideas onto fabric and exploring basic hand stitching.
No prior knowledge is necessary and all materials will be provided. You will take home a sketchbook bursting with ideas and plenty of samples to inspire future projects.
The two day course costs £200 per person and includes all your materials, lunch and refreshments. The course runs from 10am until 4pm each day.

"A weekend of just being me. I have been privileged to work alongside Sue + Laura. We have collected treasure, made marks, printed + stitched. A little haven of loveliness. I feel very at home here. Thank you all."
