Three Things; Collecting Bag Challenge – Uncharted Territory
Collecting Bag Challenge: The theme for this week is ‘Uncharted Territory’ we asked everyone to do something they had never done before and send us a picture. As Kris and Laura were in London for the Pom Pom Quarterly Christmas party they decided to explore Greenwich – somewhere they had not been before.
This is Greenwich University where Laura’s brother Jo works, Laura loved the light through the columns and had to photograph it.
This is Greenwich Market, Kris and Laura were mesmerised by the beautiful arts and crafts and salivating at the range of foods on offer. Kris photographed the Christmas lights.
Although Sue was back at Shore Cottage looking after the younger members of the Shore Cottage Studio team, Kris and Laura felt sure she would have photographed these beauties. They were called Christmas Catchers and were in the shop window of WLG DepARTment. Festive and nautical.
What uncharted territory have you covered this week? Have you tried a craft for the first time? Made a recipe you have never made before? Visited somewhere new? Email us a picture, tweet us or post a photograph on our Facebook wall before 5pm on Friday and we will add your contribution below.
Gill Alleyne posted this fantastic pic on our Facebook page. She writes “Collecting bag this week – Being a science teacher for ever and a day I decided to embark on an art course – the most difficult and rewarding thing I have ever done:) I taught myself basic wet felting and this weekend I nuno felted some fabric for the cups on my corset!!! Bravo Gill, just goes to show what you can achieve if you step out of your comfort zone 🙂
