Three Things; Friday Treasury – Coast Crafts

Shore Cottage Studio Coast Magazine crafts

A while ago we were asked to do a series of three craft features for Coast Magazine and our first one is in the shops now! The first project is a driftwood Christmas tree made using a recycled belt, a glue gun and driftwood. To get the step by step instructions you’ll have to buy the magazine.

This week we had a couple call in to the studio to say their daughter had made one. We were so pleased to know one of our trees will be in someone else’s Festive display we thought it would be a good idea to create a space for everyone to share their own versions. So we have an album on our Facebook page devoted to coast magazine craft projects. We’d love you to post your version there for all to see.

You can look at our Facebook page even if you don’t have an account, you just won’t be able to post your pic. So… If you email a photograph to us then we can post it up for you. So far we have only two trees in the album, lets see if we can get some more!

Here is a look ahead to next month’s project which uses fragrant spices but shhhhhh, we can’t tell you what it is just now. A behind the scenes shot from the photo-shoot. Spices under hot studio lights, the whole studio smelled wonderful.
