Three Things; Spotlight – Photographing Natural Texture June

Photography course June

A Flaming June photography course for you today. The first Photographing Natural Texture and Detail course we have run entirely without coats or umbrellas!

Celia arrived with a wonderful camera with all sorts of accessories that had never been out of the bag. So she dived in with both feet with Laura’s help and guidance and went home with a new found confidence in her ability and a portfolio of beautiful images.

Over the two days we covered controlling camera functions and composition.

Starting in the studio experimenting with a shallow depth of field by controlling the aperture. Then moving out onto the shoreline and the Wirral Country Park to perfect composition.

A lovely two days in Celia’s own words; “This has inspired me to continue to look closer and take more time about composing a meaningful photograph which will bring happy memories.”

You can read Celia’s full thoughts about the course on our Testimonials page.
