Today’s Collecting bags were a little damp in the rain but turned out some corkers nonetheless.

Kris found a piece of twine that had obviously spent a long time in the sea. All manner of shells and tiny seaweed fronds are encrusted in a most unlikely fashion.

A stone with distinct stratification

Sue found a beautiful stratified stone in blues and greys, it even has a touch of her beloved rust colour.

Seven tiny shells and shell fragments

Laura found seven tiny things; two complete shells and five fragments with stripes, spirals and mother of pearl flashes. She couldn’t help but record them with a scale, a flashback to a former life!
