Three Things; Treasury – Things to do this weekend
This Friday treasury we are recommending three things to do this weekend. We have a free weekend for the first time in a while and are thinking of how to spend it. What would you recommend for us to do?
Kris loves getting lost on Design Milk a design blog that features interior design and technology. It is a constant source of inspiration for crisp, modern design and innovative ideas for everything from furniture to fashion, architecture and home décor.
Sue has been ordering vintage knitting patterns from Pattern Bazaar an eBay shop with a huge selection of weird and wonderful patterns from a 1950s piano keys scarf to vintage Aran designs. The shop is based in Kilrea Ireland and provides pages of knit inspiration.
Laura recommends visiting the Tate Liverpool Gyorgy Kepes exhibition. This exhibition from Kepes (pronounced Kep-esh) is a series of images made between 1938-42 which includes photomontage, photograms and photographs. Laura spent two hours soaking up and sketching the images and is now fired up to get back into the darkroom.
