Three Things; Treasury – Two Rivers Exhibition
Today Sue visited the Two Rivers Art Group exhibition, part of the Heswall Arts Festival. If you want to catch it yourself you need to get a move on as it finishes at 3pm on Saturday 11th October. It is held in the Heswall Library and has free admission.
We can’t show you any photographs from inside the exhibition itself so you will just have to believe us that it is well worth a visit. You can find out more about the group and see some wonderful images of their work over on their Facebook page.
For our Three Things today Sue picked out her three personal favourites from the current show…
She loved Rob Symington’s fishes painted behind glass and displayed slightly away from the gallery wall which added a watery depth to the images.
Janine Pinion’s dark brooding seascapes really drew her in, with more to see the more you looked. You can see Janine’s work on her website.
Marianthi Lainas had several pieces on the show but Sue particularly enjoyed a seascape with seagulls. Marianthi’s website has not only her work on show but details of her photography workshops which look at capturing her signature landscape and seascape images.
