Three Things; Typography Finds
Today we have three typography based ‘things’ for you.
These large metal shop signage letters were sourced by Kris from The Kitchen Centre in North Shields. The letters fill an entire wall at Shore Cottage, the grand scale of the letters works wonderfully in the relatively small space. The letters have been arranged so that they do not spell any words and the typography itself is therefore the focus.
This hand painted boat sign was washed up on Thurstaston shore, the colours are delightful.
These two metal brackets look like upper case E’s and that’s why we like them. They are displayed on a rusty ladder hung horizontally at eye height below the Reynard sign.
