Three Things; Works in Progress – Laura’s Urban Approach pt2
Last week we brought you an image from Laura’s Urban Approach photo-series. This week Laura has been in the centre of Liverpool with her tripod and remote shutter release to take some more images that juxtapose a rural country fashion style with an urban environment. These images are as shot and as yet unedited so please do be gentle with your critique! Laura will be layering adding texture and collaged elements and generally experimenting with the images to complete the piece.
Laura shot several images of this doorway but this one with the motion blurred passers by is her favourite.
The builders in the background of this shoot were highly amused by Laura setting up her camera and swinging on a lamppost. You would almost think that it wasn’t an everyday occurrence.
This shot has quite a few flaws; there is a car in frame, bleached out sky, Laura’s eyes are almost totally in the shade (professional models know how to find the light for their face, Laura is not a professional model).
What do you think of these unedited shots so far? Laura is hoping to use the basic images to make something exciting. To be continued…
