Colouring Backgrounds and Threads – 19 July

Spend a whole day dyeing and preparing fabrics and threads for your own stitch projects. An ideal follow on from our Introductory Textile Sketchbook Day

Using rust and plant material as well as more conventional dyes you can create stunning backgrounds in your own colour palette.

You’ll take home a unique collection of fabric and threads including wool, linen, cotton, and silk ready for your own stitching

The Early Bird catches the worm, and if you arrive before the course starts at 10am you are welcome to join us for tea / coffee and home made biscuits, still warm from the oven. There is no additional charge for our ticket holders.
